Spruce Kings beat Chiefs in overtime

CHILLIWACK – The Prince George Spruce Kings visited the Chilliwack Chiefs last night (Jan. 12) and the team will be bringing home a victory.

Kilian McGregor-Bennett led the team to a 4-3 win with two goals. Skogen Schrott and Alexis Cournoyer also scored for Prince George. Ryan Sanborn saved 27 shots for the Spruce Kings, while Austin McNicholas faced 32 shots.

The team will now head to Trail to face the Smoke Eaters tomorrow (Jan. 14) at 3 p.m.
