PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George.

Snow is expected to start falling Friday morning and continue through Friday night before easing Saturday morning. Ten to 15 centimetres is expected.

Environment Canada attributes it to a pacific frontal system combined with lingering cold air.

“Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.”
