Cougars beat visiting Winterhawks in late comeback

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars showed resilience in a late comeback last night (Jan. 19), securing a 3-2 victory over the Portland Winterhawks.
Riley Heidt was the hero of the night, scoring two important goals in the third period, including the game-winner in the final 45 seconds. Bauer Dumanski scored the remaining goal for Prince George. Joshua Ravensbergen also had an important role in the win, saving 25 shots.
Both teams will meet again tonight (Jan. 20) at 6 p.m. inside CN Centre.
