Bachrach disappointed with feds decision not to extend CEBA loan repayment deadline
PRINCE GEORGE — Skeena-Bulkley Valley NDP MP Taylor Bachrach is disappointed with the federal government’s decision to not extend the CEBA loan repayment deadline, saying that thousands of businesses across the country are going to be faced with difficult decisions.
January 18 was the deadline for businesses to repay their Canada Emergency Business Account loans. Bachrach says that this decision by the Liberal government and the Conservatives who “stayed silent on this issue” sends a strong message to small businesses that the government and the Opposition doesn’t “have the backs of these small businesses.”
