PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars fell to the Vancouver Giants on the road Friday (Dec. 2) night 3-2.

After the Cougars surrendered the opening goal early in the first period, Terik Parascak tied the game on the power play 1-1 by getting the puck from his backhand to his forehand net front and putting it home.

The Cougars fell behind again in the second period but tied once more thanks to Carlin Dezainde pouncing on his rebound. It was 2-2 after two.

But a goal late in the first period ending up costing the Cougars for good. Logan Hammett’s slap shot found a way through goaltender Ty Young. The Giants hung on for the 3-2 win.
