Cougars forward Koehn Ziemmer skates with team for the first time since devastating injury

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars shared some big news posting a video to social media that showed star forward Koehn Ziemmer back with the team. It is an exciting sight for Cougars fans to see him in the CN Centre once again with his teammates.

It’s the first time #13 has skated with the team since his gruesome lower body injury back in late November against the Everett Silvertips. First on the agenda for the forward is to get back up to speed and get back into a routine, which means plenty of conditioning over the next week or so.

But with the team in a great spot this year the Cougars are in no rush to get Ziemmer back into the lineup, taking the recovery process one day at a time. With the hope of having him play a few regular-season games to close out the year if everything goes according to plan.
