Cougars sweep weekend against Giants

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars earned their 43rd victory of the WHL campaign after doubling the Vancouver Giants 6-3 on Saturday (March 10) at the CN Centre.

The result gives the Cougars an impressive streak of 13 consecutive games with points.

Zac Funk and Ondrej Becher notched two goals apiece for Prince George. Riley Heidt and Matteo Danis also scored for the Cougars, while Joshua Ravensbergen secured his 25th win of the year, making 13 saves.

Prince George maintain their position at the top of the Western Conference as they embark on a busy four-game road swing, starting Wednesday (March 13) in Kelowna against the Rockets.
