RCMP urges motorists to stay alert following deadly weekend crash
PRINCE GEORGE – An unfortunate accident took place over the weekend near Tete Jaune Cache, involving a motorcycle that resulted in one person’s death and another’s injury.
The Valemount RCMP responded to the incident and temporarily closed the highway to investigate the crash. As temperatures rise, all motorists must remain vigilant and practice safe driving habits.
According to Corporal Madonna Saunderson, the accident occurred near the weigh scales on Highway 16, north of Tete Jaune Cache. Therefore, the RCMP urges drivers to be mindful of motorcyclists, particularly during this time of year.
