City-Wide Food Drive brings in 3,000 pounds of food and over $7700 in cash and gift cards

PRINCE GEORGE — Saturday’s (April 13) City-Wide Food Drive was a big success.

Organizers say it brought in 3000 pounds of food and $7790 in cash and gift cards.

Proceeds go to the Salvation Army after their busiest time of year and when donations are needed the most.

101.3 The River and 99.3 Rewind Radio were stationed at the Pine Centre Mall’s Save-On-Foods location accepting donations. Telus was at the College Heights location, Spirit of the North was at the Hart location and Wood Wheaton was at the Hart location.
