Fire Rescue respond to fire near Carrie Jane Gray Park

PRINCE GEORGE—

Update: Officers from two halls responded to the blaze.

Earlier: Smoke filled the skies of downtown Prince George as a brush fire started in the walking trails behind Carrie Jane Gray Park Thursday (May 2). Witnesses report that the fire started just before 6 p.m.

Firefighters responded and quickly doused the blaze by 7:00 p.m. Prince George has yet to release the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured.
