Motorhome destroyed in fire, investigation underway

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a reported vehicle fire at about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (May 11) in the Lower Patricia encampment near Fifth Avenue and Ottawa Street.

When crews arrived on scene, they discovered a C-class motorhome and 14-foot enclosed utility trailer on fire, according to a Prince George fire rescue media release.

The occupant of the motorhome was not in the unit at the time of the fire and sustained no injuries.

The fire was quickly contained.

About $20,000 dollars of damage was done by the fire.
