PRINCE GEORGE – Since 1997, Cops for Cancer has been a symbol of hope in the battle against childhood cancer. What began as one police officer’s brave idea has grown into a nationwide movement, becoming one of the most significant fundraisers for childhood cancer research in Canada.

This Wednesday morning, members of the local Cops for Cancer bike team gathered outside Denny’s restaurant to collect funds for crucial pediatric cancer research and provide support to children with cancer and their families.

The tour spans from September 20th to the 26th, commencing in Dawson Creek and heading to Fort Saint John, then from Fort John to Chetwynd, Powder King, Mackenzie, and Prince George, ultimately wrapping up in Williams Lake.
