PRINCE GEORGE — Terik Parascak burst onto the junior hockey scene with an incredible rookie campaign with the Prince George Cougars. He led all CHL rookies in points and goals and was the first rookie to surpass the 100-point mark since 1998-99. Now the 17-year-old forward is expected to hear his name called early in the 2024 NHL Draft. And after an incredible season, it’s still a bit of a shock to him.

Parascak returns from the NHL Scouting Combine in Buffalo finishing top five in the Pro Agility Test out of all the prospects attending. Another big part of the combine is meeting with teams and answering various questions. Which can range from “What’s your Uber rating?” to “What type of animal are you?”

Every NHL team has its draft board and rankings with many expecting Parascak to go in the late first round. Despite the rankings, many prospect analysts say the team that calls his name will still be getting a very intriguing player.
