PRINCE GEORGE—UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer program has announced another addition with the committment of Liam Blair-Murphy for the 2024 season and beyond.
The 6’2″ product of Victoria B.C. will be attending UNBC in the fall after finishing an eight-goal, six-assist season for the Lambrick Park Secondary School Lions and head coach Dan Duerden. At club level, Blair-Murphy played for the Saanich Fusion under the watchful eye of head coach Brett Hyslop.
“I wanted to commit to UNBC because it’s close to home,” remarked Blair-Murphy who grew up in Smithers. “All the guys have been reaching out to me and have made me feel welcome. I also really like coach Steve.”
Head coach Steve Simonson notes that the addition of Blair-Murphy alongside the rest of the 2024 recruits has him feeling optimistic for the next season.
