Elder Darlene McIntosh reappointed to second term as UNBC Chancellor
PRINCE GEORGE — Lheidli T’enneh Elder Darlene McIntosh has been reappointed as UNBC Chancellor for a second term.
The reappointment was made by the University of Northern British Columbia’s Board of Governors.
McIntosh began her role in July 2022 and her second term begins on May 1, 2025 and runs until April 30, 2028.
In the role, McIntosh’s duties include serving on UNBC’s Senate and Board of Governors, conferring degrees and representing UNBC at the Convocation at the Wilp Wilxo’oskwhl Nisga’a Institute in Gitwinksihlkw, B.C.
