Kodiaks new QB looks to make an impact in first BCFC season
PRINCE GEORGE — As the season opener nears for the Prince George Kodiaks the team continues to solidify their roster. A new face to Kodiaks fans this year is Quarterback Sawyer Thiessen, who joins the team from the University of Manitoba.
Last year Prince George had a carousel of Quarterbacks start under centre. Now the hope is Head Coach Jamie Boreham has found someone to steady the ship for a team looking to make the jump this season.
For Theissen, he’s been welcomed by his new teammates and is counting down the days when he takes the field in the black and yellow in front of a sold-out crowd.
