Kodiaks open football season with victory over Raiders in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Kodiaks kicked off their B.C. Football Conference season on Saturday (July 20) — and did so in style.

Prince George posted a 39-34 victory over the visiting Vancouver Island Raiders of Nanaimo.

The Kodiaks will travel to Vancouver Island next weekend to take on the defending league champions, the Westshore Rebels of Langford.

Westshore is 1-0 after vanquishing the Broncos 43-27 on Saturday in Kamloops.
