UNBC soccer clubs suffer defeat

The UNBC Timberwolves were unable to muster a goal in Canada West men’s soccer action on Friday (Sept. 6) in Prince George, falling 1-0 to the UBC Okanagan Heat of Kelowna.
UNBC is 0-4-1 and looking for its first victory of the campaign on Saturday, with a rematch against the Heat (2-2-1) slated for 6 p.m. at Masich Place Stadium.
Meanwhile, the T-Wolves’ women opened their season with a 4-0 loss to the Mount Royal Cougars on Friday in Calgary.
The Victoria Vikes will host UNBC on Sunday.
