Child goes missing near Burns Lake

BURNS LAKE — A seven-year-old child has gone missing near Burns Lake.

RCMP say Oaklynn Schwedder went missing from her residence on Southbank and was last seen outside her home at 6:00 p.m. on September 19, 2024.

RCMP note she was wearing a red/blue plaid dress, leggings with white bowties and pink socks.

Oaklynn is on the autism spectrum and is non-verbal.
