Cougars blank visiting Timberwolves in Canada West men’s soccer play

CALGARY — The Mount Royal Cougars blanked the UNBC Timberwolves 2-0 in Canada West men’s soccer action on Friday (Sept. 20) in Calgary.

T-Wolves’ goalkeeper Logan Pierce stopped nine shots in a losing effort.

Mount Royal improved to four wins, one loss and four ties on the campaign, while the T-Wolves dropped to 0-8-2.

The Saskatchewan Huskies (2-6) will host UNBC on Sunday in Saskatoon.
