Junk in the Trunk is back
PRINCE GEORGE – Twice every year, hundreds of people converge on the CN Center parking lot to check out what other people are willing to part with.
“Since 2012, we’ve been offering Junk in the Trunk twice a year, spring and fall,” says Terri McClymont with REAPS, which has organized the event. “It’s an opportunity for residents who are apartment dwellers or are in an area where you might not have a lot of foot traffic to have a garage sale so that people can reduce their waste, go into landfill, make a little bit of money and learn about upcycling.”
Along with Junk in the Trunk are items for sale that you just can’t recycle.
