PRINCE GEORGE— Starting on October 1, Road closures will be in place for around two weeks between 4th Ave and Lower Patricia. This as the City of Prince George recommences work on the Ontario Street watermain replacement and upgrade work.

This work is part of the one million dollar Watermain Replacement Program and will provide more redundancy to the system as well as increased fire hydrant flows for the area.

All business impacted have been notified of the work including if they will experience any water outages.

There will be no street parking available during the construction. However, pedestrian access will be maintained with the City reminding people to exercise caution in and around the work zone. Pay attention to signage and directions from the construction crew.
