Cougars double up on Giants in Langley

PRINCE GEORGE — Carlin Dezainde and Borya Valis had two goals apiece for the Prince George Cougars in a 6-3 victory over the Vancouver Giants in WHL action on Friday (Sept. 27) in Langley.

Hunter Laing and Evan Groening added singles for the Cats in support of goaltender Joshua Ravensbergen, who made 41 saves to pick up the win between the pipes.

Cameron Schmidt tallied twice for the Giants and Ty Halaburda scored once, with netminder Matthew Hutchison making 29 saves in a losing effort.

Prince George improved to 2-0-1-0, while Vancouver dropped to 2-1-0-0.
