Turner’s goal not enough for T-Wolves in loss to Heat

KELOWNA — Claire Turner scored in a losing effort for the UNBC Timberwolves on Friday (Sept. 27) in Kelowna, with the UBC Okanagan Heat prevailing 3-1 in the Canada West women’s soccer matchup.
The Timberwolves dropped to 1-6 on the season and will square off against the TRU WolfPack (2-5-1) on Saturday (Sept. 28).
On the men’s side, UNBC (1-7-2) will host the Trinity Western Spartans (2-4-1) on Saturday, a 1 p.m. kickoff at Masich Place Stadium
