Express roll to sweep of hometown Spruce Kings

PRINCE GEORGE — The Coquitlam Express swept the hometown Prince George Spruce Kings in B.C. Hockey League action this weekend.

Coquitlam vanquished Prince George 6-2 on Saturday (Sept. 28) at Kopar Memorial Arena, a night after besting the Spruce Kings 4-1.

Ty Paisley and Evan Bellamy notched goals for the Spruce Kings on Saturday, with goaltender Ryder Green allowing six goals on 30 shots.

Prince George, which has two wins and three losses this season, will host a pair of games next weekend against the South Surrey Eagles.
