The Long Table offers unique wares

QUESNEL – A unique grocery store has come to the community of Quesnel. It’s called the Long Table and it sells locally-produced goods.

“My sister and I started it together two years ago and we just really wanted to make a difference in the local food economy,” explains Amy Quarry. “And we felt like this was something that was missing in our retail landscape here.”

And it has done so well, it recently won Small Business BC’s Community Impact award.

Quarry says people are becoming more aware of where their food comes from and believes her customers fell good about supporting local producers and the economy.
