Riley Heidt heading back to the Cougars

PRINCE GEORGE—Riley Heidt will be returning to the Prince George Cougars for the rest of the 2024-25 season.

The star forward was with the Minnesota Wild (NHL) to attend their training camp while suiting up for three pre-season games.

The 19-year-old product of Saskatoon posted 117 points (37-80-117) last season and is currently the Cougars all-time points (280) and assists (195) leader.

The Cats are back on the ice this Wednesday where they visit the Kelowna Rockets.
