Spruce Kings add Erik Sollied to their back end

PRINCE GEORGE— The Prince George Spruce Kings have traded acquired defenseman Erik Sollied (05) from the Nanaimo Clippers in exchange for future considerations.
The 6’0, 179 pound defenseman has played 68 games over the past three seasons in his time with Merritt (2022-2023) and Nanaimo (2023-2024). Sollied has 3 goals and 11 assist in his career. Before the BCHL, the Langley, B.C. product played with the Valley West Giants U18 team of the BCEHL.
“Erik is a veteran BCHL player who will come in and help solidify our back end,” says GM Mike Hawes. “He’s also a tremendous young man who will fit seamlessly into our program. We’re thrilled to add him.”
