Oilers knock off Spruce Kings in Okotoks

The Okotoks Oilers doubled the visiting Prince George Spruce Kings 6-3 in B.C. Hockey League play on Friday (Oct. 11).

Otto Hanson tallied twice for Okotoks, which improved to 2-5 on the season.

Ethan Montroy, Trent Ballentyne and Cooper Williams scored for the Kings in support of goaltender Carter Wishart, who stopped 26 shots in a losing effort.

Prince George dropped to 3-5-0-0 and sits in last place in the Coastal East Division.

The undefeated Brooks Bandits (6-0-0-0) are scheduled to host the Spruce Kings on Saturday (Oct. 12).
