Timberwolves suffer second consecutive lopsided defeat to Thunderbirds

PRINCE GEORGE — The UBC Thunderbirds knocked off the UNBC Timberwolves 7-0 on Saturday (Oct. 12) in Canada West women’s soccer action at Masich Place Stadium.

UBC, which bested UNBC by the same scoreline on Friday (Oct. 11) in Prince George, scored all seven of its goals in the first half on Saturday and improved to 12-0 this season.

The Thunderbirds are the No. 1 ranked U Sports women’s soccer team.

UNBC is 1-11, with two road matches remaining on its schedule.
