Cougars blanked in Calgary

CALGARY — The Prince George Cougars kicked off a road trip with a 5-0 loss to the Calgary Hitmen on Monday (Oct.14).

The Cougars were outshot 36-31, giving up three goals in the second period and two in the third period.

Cooper Michaluk was in net for Prince George who continue their three game trip in Medicine Hat Wednesday night. They wrap up the trip in Lethbridge on Friday.

It was the Cougars fourth loss in their last five games.
