Hurricanes blow past Cougars in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, ALTA. — The Prince George Cougars capped a three-game Alberta road swing with a 7-3 loss to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Friday (Oct. 18).

Will Sharpe (2), Shane Smith (2) Kooper Gizowski, Noah Chadwick and Logan Wormald scored for the Hurricanes, whose goaltender, Brady Smith, made 22 saves to pick up the win between the pipes. Miguel Marques had five assists for Lethbridge.

Jett Lajoie, Ephram McNutt and Koehn Ziemmer scored for the Cats, with Joshua Ravensbergen making 32 saves in a losing effort.

Prince George is second in WHL Western Conference standings, with six wins, four losses, two overtime defeats and one shootout loss this season.
