Prince George Public Library to reopen on Sundays

PRINCE GEORGE —Four years after the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted operations, the Prince George Public Library is resuming Sunday openings at the Bob Harkins branch.

The branch will be open beginning this weekend, November 3, from noon till 4 p.m.. The library says it’s committed to increasing access to library services so that everyone in the community can enjoy and benefit from them.

The Sunday openings mean the library will now be open seven days a week.

The Prince George Public Library has served the City of Prince George and surrounding areas since 1955, with its current Bob Harkins Branch location opening in downtown Prince George in 1981.
