Man robbed at knife-point near Westwood & Ferry

PRINCE GEORGE — The search is on for two suspects believed responsible for a robbery early Sunday morning (Nov.3).

Prince George RCMP say the victim was walking in the area of Ferry Avenue and Westwood Drive just before 12:30 a.m. when he was approached by a man and a woman who demanded his wallet and backpack.

“The male suspect produced a knife when they approached the victim, who complied by handing over his backpack,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper. “Police officers surrounded the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The male suspect is described as:

  • Between 16-20 years old
  • Slim build
  • Approximately 5’4- 5’5
  • Dressed all in black

The female suspect is described as:

  • Between 18-20 years old
  • Slim build
  • Approximately 5’4- 5’5
  • Brown hair
  • Dressed all in black

RCMP say no was injured in the incident. In light of what happened, RCMP advise people to walk with a friend whenever possible and to be prepared for anything that may put you at risk when walking alone.
