Koehn Ziemmer named WHL Player of the Week

PRINCE GEORGE — The WHL has named Prince George Cougars forward Koehn Ziemmer the league’s Player of the Week.

This after the Los Angeles Kings prospect scored seven goals and added one assist over three games.

Among those goals was Sunday’s game winner in overtime to help his team defeat the visiting Vancouver Giants, 5-4.

Ziemmer and his teammates are back on the ice this Friday night (Nov.15) when they host the visiting Kelowna Rockets.
