College Heights to face Vernon in provincial football semifinal at BC Place

PRINCE GEORGE — A big game for the College Heights Cougars, who are one win away from playing for the BC High School Football Association AA varsity championship.

They’ll have to beat the top ranked Vernon Panthers in semi-final action Saturday afternoon (Nov.23) at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver if they want to get there.

The Panthers beat the South Kamloops Titans 56-0 in the quarter-finals last weekend, while the Cougars got by the Holy Cross Crusaders 22-15.

This afternoon’s game will be webcast on YouTube with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m..

The winner of the Cougars-Panthers game will face either the Windsor Wolves or the Robert Bateman Timberwolves for the provincial title.
