PRINCE GEORGE — A summertime tradition returns to downtown Prince George on Friday.
The City is bringing back Foodie Fridays which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on July 4, 18, 25, and August 1, 8, and 29.
Foodie Fridays bring food trucks, vendors and entertainment to Canada Games Plaza. The idea was first brought to City staff back in 2016 by a group of local businesses who wanted to bring something new downtown.
“This year, the City of Prince George is excited to share Canada Games Plaza with Tourism Prince George’s Nanguz’ An container market,” said events coordinator, Susie Jones, “the container market gives Foodie Fridays participants even more to explore in the plaza, from local artisans to the year-round skating rink!” You can bring your own skates or rent a pair for $4.
