Spotless Uniform and Linen destroyed in evening fire

PRINCE GEORGE — A business on the Hart was destroyed by fire Tuesday night.

Prince George Fire Rescue arrived at Spotless Uniform and Linen on the 3900 block of Kenworth Road at approximately 8:45 p.m. to find the business partially involved in fire.

“The fire took several hours to extinguish using a ladder truck as well as handlines and master streams from other apparatus.

“The fire caused extensive damage to the building, resulting in a loss of approximately $1.9 million. The quick actions of firefighters prevented damage to nearby vehicles and buildings,” says a City of Prince George news release.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
