Alzheimer’s Walk Honours Seniors’ Centre Cook

PRINCE GEORGE – Raising money for Alzheimer’s disease, participants in the Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer’s laced up in Prince George on Sunday.
The one-kilometre walk kicked off at the YMCA of Northern BC. Their honouree was local artist Victoria Taylor. She was the cook at the Prince George Seniors’ Centre for almost 40 years and is now living with Alzheimer’s.
The yearly walk honours those that have passed, while also acknowledging the work to be done to help people living with the disease.
