Monster trucks set to return to Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – The CN Centre is excited to announce that Monster Madness will be returning to Prince George, after it saw incredible feedback from its event last year. However, this upcoming event on May9, 2026, will be a special one, as it will be the first time that Monster Madness is collaborating with the FMX World Tour at the CN Centre.

“We’ve had monster trucks come before, we’ve had freestyle motocross before, but we’ve never had it with two shows in one. So the monster trucks are going to be the first half of the show. FMX World Tour is going to be the second half. Because of the popularity of monster trucks in Prince George, there’s going to be two shows, so there’s a matinee at 2:30, and then there’ll be an evening show at 7:30,” said the CN Centre’s Manager Glen Mikkelsen.

Tickets go on sale on Black Friday, with Mikkelsen noting there is a Black Friday deal for anyone who purchases their tickets early, so he encourages anyone interested to buy their tickets with the code MM2026PG to get 15% off. He adds this year, the tickets come with an additional benefit as well.

“There’s a pit party and that happens about 90 minutes before the show starts each time. Other times, people have had to buy a pit party pass as well as their ticket. But this time, everybody who buys a ticket can go in to the pit party, so that’s included with every ticket purchased,” Mikkelsen said.

Even though the show was just announced recently, Mikkelsen adds the response has already been great, saying he’s heard from people inquiring about potential suite availability, and a strong sense of interest from others. All that is to say, he believes this will be a fantastic show combining two of Prince George’s most enjoyed acts.

“This show is super loud and it’s super bombastic, but just plan to make sure when you’re coming to the show, bring some hearing protection,” he added.
