Spruce Kings fall in Langley to Rivermen

LANGLEY — The Langley Rivermen blew open a tight game in the second period and third periods Saturday night and never looked back in a 6-2 win over the visiting Prince George Spruce Kings. 

The contest was all even after the opening 20 minutes with goals coming from Darius Bachler and Andreas Mikrogiannakis for Langley and Spencer Masters and Ryan Wachtel for PG. 

After the first intermission however it was all Rivermen, with four more goals coming from four different players to secure the 6-2 victory. 

Colin Reay made 23 stops in the loss.
