Snowfall warning issued for Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George and the Stuart-Nechako region.
The national forecaster says the snow will start early Tuesday evening and continue through Wednesday morning with 10 to 15 centimetres expected to fall.
Environment Canada attributes the snow to an intense Pacific frontal system approaching B.C.’s interior while noting that travel will likely be challenging during this time.
Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow and visibility will likely be reduced at times.
