Dec 29, 2025 | 12:32 PM

PRINCE GEORGE — Twenty-two centimetres of snow fell in Prince George on Sunday (Dec.28).

Environment Canada says it brings the month’s total to 48.7 centimetres, about 119 per cent of average (41 cm).

“There was a lot more snow than what was predicted for yesterday,” said Meteorologist Ken Dosanjh, who warned that things have warmed up to the point where there may be freezing rain overnight.

This week the average high temperature is expected to reach one on Monday and Tuesday and zero on Wednesday and Friday. The overnight low on Monday will reach zero, then minus 2 on Tuesday.
