Prince George worker dies in workplace incident

PRINCE GEORGE — A worker at a cable yarding operation in Prince George was killed earlier this month when they were struck by a tree as it was yarded to the roadside.

WorkSafeBC says the incident occurred on December 2 though neither the location of where the incident occurred or the name of the company involved as been released.

WorkSafeBC says it is not able to provide any additional details while the investigation is underway.
