Keeping Roads Safe A Priority For PG RCMP Over The Holidays

PRINCE GEORGE – Counter Attack Road Checks were conducted by Prince George RCMP this past weekend to target impaired drivers.

During these checks, four impaired drivers were taken off the road, six vehicles were impounded and 36 violation tickets were issued.

Additional officers will be out this holiday season conducting roadblocks and traffic stops to make sure everyone gets home safe.

Mounties would also like to remind everyone to plan ahead, whether it’s with a friend, calling a taxi or programs including Operation Red Nose to ensure a safe ride home.
