Kodiaks AGM paints bleak financial picture
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Kodiaks held an annual general meeting last night (Wed), and the meeting painted a bleak picture for the future of the franchise.
During the meeting, it was revealed that the organization currently holds an outstanding loan of $426,000 with a 7 per cent interest rate, owed to former board president Craig Briere.
Sponsorship revenue declined by an estimated $60 to $75,000 year-over-year, with multiple sponsors not renewing their sponsorships with the team.
