Spruce Kings take Game 3 vs Rivermen

LANGLEY — The Prince George Spruce Kings defeated the Langley Rivermen 6-2 Tuesday night before 815 fans at George Preston Arena in Langley to take a 2-1 series lead in their first round playoff series.
The Spruce Kings were dominant, leading 3-0 after the second period following two goals from Lucas Busch and another from Carter Hesselgrave.
Evan Bellamy, Ben Vreugdenhil, and Spencer Masters all scored goals in the third period. The Spruce Kings outshot the Rivermen 47-25 with Colin Reay picking up the win in net. The Spruce Kings went 3 for 6 on the powerplay.
Game 4 goes tonight (April 8) in Langley with Game 5 set for Friday night in Prince George.
