Spruce Kings in must-win game 6 after tough defeat Friday

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have been pushed to the brink of elimination as the Langley Rivermen claimed game five 5-2 Friday night.
The Rivermen now lead the best-of-seven first round series three games to two, and could finish off the Spruce Kings on home ice Sunday night.
PG did score the opening goal last night with Cooper Faughnan, but would allow five unanswered goals from Langley before Faughnan would bookend the night with he second goal of the evening.
Colin Reay made 24 stops in the loss, Eric Young picked up the victory with 29 saves on 31 shots.
