Cougars fall 1-0 in Game 5

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars will need to force a Game 7 after they fell 1-0 against the Penticton Vees on Friday night.
The Game 5 loss saw the Vees earn a power play goal at 10:27 if the first period, with the rest of the game remaining scoreless.
Cougars’ goaltender Josh Ravensbergen blocked 28 of 29 shots on net, while Vees netminder Andrew Reyelts blocked all 25 shots, leading to the shutout victory.
The Cougars will be back in action for Game 6 against the Vees from home ice in the CN Centre on Sunday (April 19) night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
