Two-vehicle MVI on Mud River Bridge

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle incident on the Mud River Bridge on Highway 16 West this afternoon (Monday).

Police say the collision involved a pickup truck and a semi tractor trailer. No word on injuries though RCMP confirmed an ambulance was headed to the scene. A photo sent to CKPG News shows the pickup suffered significant front-end damage.

The collision occurred at 12:18 p.m. with no word yet on the cause.

“There are two passengers in the pickup truck that are being dealt with by first responders at the location; the extent of any injury is currently unknown to police. We ask that anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash camera footage of the incident or the vehicles’ driving behaviour prior to contact our non-emergency line to speak with an investigator,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
